On the Thursday August the 18th, 2011 broadcast, our creative director and roving reporter Lon Levin returns to Huntington Beach to recap coverage of recent competitive heats including the US Open of Surfing, and more recently 4th Annual SuperGirl Jam Junior Women's competition in Oceanside, California.
Lon will report on out continuing plans to document and profile the lives of several junior women's personal journey's as they progress through the trials and tribulations of surfing at the competitive level. Today's program will follow one of those emerging talents, Shelby Detmers.
